Kwame Ofosu-Asare stabbing: Man arrested

Kwame Ofosu-Asare Kwame suffered multiple stab wounds
A man has been arrested on suspicion of killing a 17-year-old boy who died from multiple stab wounds.
Kwame Ofosu-Asare, of Catford, was found on Friday in Adelaide Close, Moorlands Estate, Brixton.
The 22-year-old was arrested early on Wednesday in south London and remains in custody.
The driver of a silver Vauxhall Zafira minicab believed to have been used by those responsible for the killing has been urged to come forward.
Metropolitan Police said the minicab picked up two men in Camberwell then dropped them off at the Myatts Field Estate and Vassal Road area before parking in Moorlands Road some 20 minutes later.
They left the minicab and made their way to the Moorlands Estate where they were for a couple of minutes before making their way back to the vehicle which is then believed to have taken them back to the Camberwell area, police said.
The victim, a sixth-form student, was with a friend when they were chased by two men.
The 17-year-old died on the way to hospital.
The two suspects are described as black, aged in their late teens or early 20s. They were both wearing dark clothing.
'Revenge' attack
Police are examining whether Kwame's murder was linked to seven other stabbings - all in the same area of London.
Officers carried out raids in Lambeth on Tuesday, targeting the homes of suspected gang members, after a spate of eight stabbings in the capital since 25 February.
Det Ch Insp John McFarlane, of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command, said: "Kwame was an innocent young man enjoying himself on a Friday afternoon when he was pursued and attacked by two knifemen."
Silver Vauxhall Zafira minicab Police have called for the minicab driver to come forward
He has appealed for the driver of the minicab to come forward as well as anybody else who was in or around the Moorlands Estate at that time.
"At this stage I believe that this was a random selection of victim and that Kwame could have been attacked by individuals who saw people they did not know on what they perceived to be their territory," he said.
"I also have to consider the possibility that the attack on Kwame was carried out in revenge for the stabbing of another youth in West Norwood or another stabbing last week."
Commander Steve Rodhouse, from the Met's Trident Gang Command said extra officers were patrolling the Lambeth borough.
On Tuesday, officers from Lambeth Borough and Trident Gang Crime Command arrested two men, aged 19 and 23, and two teenage boys, aged 14 and 16, after raiding eight addresses.
They were held for conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm, but not in connection with Kwame's murder.
Ch Supt Matt Bell said the raids were carried out to "pre-empt any potential future violence".
